Susan Buehler
Why do I yodel when I sing? This question was posed by a mature member of a community chorus. With the increase of older adults in our nation, voice teachers are frequently asked to help with vocal issues that may plague a mature adult. This session will present agin factors that affect the voice and will focus primarily on singers with limited vocal training.
Dr. Susan Buehler is Professor Emeritus of Music and recipient of the Baker University Trustee medallion at Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. Dr. Buehler was president of the Kansas NATS Chapter 1996-1998. Since her ‘retirement’ to Cannon Beach in 2009, she maintains Music Lasts A Lifetime voice and piano studio for students of all ages.
